Service At Its Finest
LEO Clinic is a community-based children's mental health, primary care, and general dentistry clinic that offers wraparound services to children and adolescents, as well as their families. LEO Clinic programs and services are intended to:
(A) raise awareness about the importance of mental, primary care, and dental health and improve functioning in children, youth, and families; and
(B) effectively reduce the prevalence and incidence of mental illness, emotional disturbance, medical, dental hygiene, social dysfunction, and other issues in children, youth, and families.
A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, dentists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, or other mental health specialists is in charge of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Diagnostic examination, psychiatric testing, cleaning, x-ray, vaccination, family, group, and individual treatments, prescription services, and crisis or emergency interventions are all examples of services.
LEO clinics make every effort to respond quickly and easily to our community's needs, as well as to collaborate with schools, the child welfare system, and other child-caring organizations. Our services are culturally competent and delivered to the general public without bias based on color, sex, ethnicity, religion, or sexual preference. As a Licensed Outpatient Psychiatric Children's Clinic, Licensed Outpatient Primary Care Clinic and Licensed General Outpatient Dental Clinic by the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Public Health, LEO Clinics have in place overall policies and procedures in accordance with sections 17a-20-11 to 17a-20-61, inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies Clinics.
